Patrick O'Brien (Arthur Sinclair) disappears in the African desert
after setting off to find the fabled diamond mines of King Solomon, his
daughter Kathy (Anna Lee) and native guide Umbopa (Paul Robeson) ask
Quatermaine to lead a dangerous expedition into the heart of the
country to track him down. There, Quatermaine discovers a secret lost
tribe led by an evil witch, and is shocked to find that Umbopa is the
heir to the tribe's throne. Only by helping Umbopa regain his position
can Quatermaine hope to rescue O'Brien from the tribe's clutches.
