Ordering
We accept orders via the web and orders by post. We are unable to accept telephone orders. See payment section below. When you place a web order your card details are verified and a check is carried out to establish if adequate funds are available. When your items are ready for despatch payment will then be taken from your card account.
Pre-Orders
Placing a pre-order means that you are ordering an item prior to its release date. You will only be charged at the point of despatch. We aim to despatch pre-ordered items in time for you to receive it on its day of release. However we cannot guarantee the delivery time.
Payment
Card Payment - we accept all major credit & debit cards including Amex.
Paypal - we accept payment via Paypal accounts.
Cheque Payment - we also accept cheques drawn from a UK sterling account. Cheques accepted via post only. Cheques made payable to 'DVDs-On-Line' and sent to registered address (see contact page). Title, quantity, value and customer details including delivery address are required
We do not accept postal orders or any other form of payment. Our offices are open Monday - Friday. Any payments or orders received by us over a weekend will be processed on the next working day, unless it is a Public Holiday.
Shipping
We offer FREE shipping to UK addresses and subsidised shipping to overseas countries.
Packaging
Single or double disc dvd sets are despatched in bubblewrap protective bags. Large and heavier items such as boxsets are packed securely in boxes for added protection.
Despatch Times
We aim to despatch all 'in stock' items within 48 hours of receiving payment. We will inform you of any unforeseen delays. We use Royal Mail's 1st class service for UK shipping and 1st class airmail for overseas shipping.
Delivery Times
These are estimated at 3 - 5 working days (UK), 5 - 7 working days (Europe) and 7 - 10 working days (Rest of the World). If you have not received your order within 15 days (UK), or 25 days (Europe / Rest of the World) after you receive our despatch notification email then please contact us at info@ukdvdsonline.com
Customs
Please remember that for non UK / EU countries there may be import tax duty payable on your order which varies according to country of destination. Custom controls also have the right to check all items sent through mail order. As such delays may occur due to local custom control activity.
Returns Policy
We accept unwanted or faulty items. We are unable to refund or exchange on opened items unless it is faulty or in the unlikelyhood of error on our part. Before returning any item you must obtain authorisation from us at info@ukdvdsonline.com Postage will be paid on any returned item found to be faulty, damaged or sent in error on our part. Please pack any return items securely and include a short note of explanation along with your details. We recommend using a postal tracking service when returning items to us as we cannot be held responsible for non receipt of goods.
Cancellations
You may cancel your order at any time prior to despatch. You will incur no penalty fee and if a payment has been made then a full refund is initiated.
Unwanted Items
You may return any unopened item within 14 days of receiving it for a full refund less postage costs. We can only accept items that are unopened and in a saleable condition.
Faulty / Damaged Items
We will happily replace or refund any faulty or damaged item. Returns are accepted within 7 days of receipt. Please advise us of exact fault and where located in order for us to process your return quickly. A replacement will be sent out upon receiving the faulty / damaged item. Please check DVD on a second player and its relevant manual carefully before returning it to us. We test all items claimed to be faulty. If no fault can be found then the item will be returned to the customer.
Lost / Missing Items
Before enquiring after non receipt of goods please be aware of delivery estimations as follows -

All losses are treated serious and investigated thoroughly. UKdvdsonline will initiate an investigation with Royal Mail. If an item is not traced then a replacement will be despatched and a signature required. If a replacement is unavailable a refund will be provided. We reserve the right not to replace or refund where the delivery details are found to be incorrect or incomplete.

Region Guide
DVD region codes are a provision in the DVD specifications that require DVD players to be hardcoded to accept DVDs that are only meant to be played within 6 designated world regions. Originally imposed by the film studios in order to stagger the theatrical release of their movies worldwide to protect exclusive markets. We only sell region 2 DVDs which cover the UK and most of Europe. Please ensure that your equipment is capable of playing region 2 DVDs as we do not accept returns due to incompatibilty reasons.

The data you send us, including your name and address is encrypted and converted into code, before it is transmitted across the internet. Your credit / debit card details and personal information is stored securely and is not shared with anyone. As an additional safety feature we do not store the security code found on the reverse of the card but request it each time you place an order.
