Ballykissangel - Series 6

Ballykissangel is a fictional village nestling in the lush green mountains of County Wicklow, in the heart of the Irish countryside. It's the kind of place where everyone knows everyone else, where everyone knows everyone else's business, where gossip is rife and where disputes are settled by taking bets on the outcome. Here life revolves around the local Catholic church and its rival, the local bar.

A year has passed since the end of series five and a new Australian priest, Vincent Sheahan (Robert Taylor), has arrived to take over from Father Aidan O'Connell. He has to dodge romantic entanglements and learns that the locals are more complicated than they seem.

Also joining Ballykissangel regulars, like the Dooley family - Frankie, Brendan, Liam and Donal, are Edso (Paul Ronan), who runs the garage; Louis (Mick Lally), a mountainous man who most people find totally unintelligible and Avril (Susannah Doyle) who runs stables near the village.

From Dermot's online confessional (which is promptly stopped by a mysterious email from God!) to a surprise takeover at the pub, and further shenanigans with Liam and Donal, there's every reason to return to the idyllic village.
