Ivanhoe (1982)

An adaptation of Walter Scott's Ivanhoe in which noble knight Ivanhoe returns to England after the holy wars to find it under the reign of Prince John and his henchmen. He soon finds himself being involved in the power struggle for the throne. A great cast, great costumes, pageantry and scenery make this the best adaptation of the tale.
